The Dental Hygiene Preferred Day and Night combo kit mouth guard system will show you just how comfortable they can be. There is no need to spend hundreds of dollars at your dentist just to have a custom fit mouth guard made. This dual kit comes with instructions for molding and fitting the mouth guards in the comfort of your own home.
Dental Hygiene Preferred Complete Day/Night Mouth Guard Kit
These mouth guards can be used for some sports activity, but they are mainly designed to help stop the damage caused by clenching and grinding of your teeth. Whether you grind your teeth only at night, or find that you are clenching your teeth during the day while doing routine actions, it is highly important that you find a mouth guard system that will fit your needs and mouth.
Being able to soften these mouth guards by boiling them in water and then putting them in your mouth and biting down will ensure that the fit is perfect for your mouth.
There was a time when you had to visit the dentist and set up an appointment to have your mouth guards made for you. These days are slipping away into the past as you can purchase mouth guard systems like this one over the counter without ever having to visit your dentist.
This is especially good in times of economic dismay like we have been seeing the last few years. You should consult your dentist if the guards cause you any kind of pain or inflammation because it’s not a cure for bruxism either.

I wasn’t too sure about using something like this until my dentist told me I needed something for both day and night relief. I have found myself clenching my teeth when doing things around the house and it always causes me pain. My dentist said I should use one to sleep and one while I am doing housework to help ease my clenching habits. They seem to work very well, although, it is a bit difficult to answer a phone without taking the guard out first. You learn rather quickly that you can’t really talk with one of these in, but the relief is worth the embarrassment from answering the door with a mouth guard in.
I wanted to give these a try as I was tired of paying hundreds of dollars every few months for the dentist to mold my guards. I know that they probably won’t last as long as the professional ones will, but for the price, I am willing to purchase 3 or 4 sets of these a year rather than spend up to $1000 a year for two sets of the others. So far, they seem to fit pretty well and I haven’t had any issues with them slipping out either. Overall, I am happy with what I paid and what I got out of it.
I have had many different kinds of dental guards in my life and they all seem to work well with a few exceptions. Some don’t fit right, some cause sores, some just fall out, but these seem to do the trick when it comes to helping me with my grinding problems. I have had lots of dental work done over the years as well because of my grinding, but now I seem to have found a solution that keeps me out of the dentist chair and in bed where I want to be. I would recommend people give these a try and see how well they can work for you.
